On the afternoon of April 15th, the "2024 Greater Bay Area (Bright) Intelligent Sensor Industry Chain Ecological Conference" jointly organized by the China Sensor and IoT Industry Alliance and the Shenzhen Intelligent Sensor Industry Association was grandly held at the Futian Convention and Exhibition Center in Shenzhen. Academician Guo Yuansheng of the European Academy of Natural Sciences/Executive Vice Chairman of the China Sensor and IoT Industry Alliance, Wang Liang, Director of Honeywell China, Zhang Yan, Vice President of Siemens Digital Industry Group/Siemens Industrial Software Greater China, Wu Ruojun, Chairman of Ampereon Technology/Chairman of Shenzhen Sensor Association, Bai Qingli, Vice President of Hertai, Nie Yongzhong, Chairman of Xirenma, Zhao Chenglong, Chief Technology Officer of Wuxi Weigan Semiconductor, and Xiong Chuanlong, Deputy General Manager of Guangming Technology Development, were all present. Wu and other guests, as well as more than 150 representatives from exhibitors, member enterprises, investment and financing institutions, attended the conference.

The event was also strongly supported by Shenzhen Guangming District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen Guangming District Investment Promotion Service Center, Shenzhen Guangming Science City Industrial Development Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Satellite IoT Industry Association, Shenzhen Emergency Safety Industry Association, Shenzhen Aerospace Industry Association, Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, Shenzhen Intelligent Equipment Industry Association, Shenzhen Anti counterfeiting Traceability Association, Shenzhen Micro manufacturing Industry Promotion Association, Shenzhen Industrial Internet Industry Association, and the sensor expert network.

Wu Ruojun, President of Shenzhen Intelligent Sensor Industry Association and Chairman of Ampelon Technology, delivered a speech stating that the intelligent sensor industry in Shenzhen has made significant progress in recent years, thanks to strong policy support, improved industrial chain support, continuous investment in innovation and research and development, a strong technology and financial support system, and a vast industry application market. According to the statistics of the Shenzhen Intelligent Sensor Industry Association, there are currently over 4000 enterprises related to the intelligent sensor industry chain in Shenzhen, with 433 professional sensor manufacturing enterprises, including 15 listed companies, 39 national level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises, and 6 manufacturing industry champion enterprises. The relevant indicators lead cities across the country. In 2023, about a quarter of the national sensor investment and financing events occurred in Shenzhen, accounting for the largest number and scale of cities in the country. In this exhibition, a total of 105 companies from Shenzhen participated, showcasing the strong strength of Shenzhen's intelligent sensor corps.

Guo Yuansheng, academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences and executive vice chairman of the China Sensor and Internet of Things Industry Alliance, delivered a speech stating that China has undergone three major economic structural transformations since the reform and opening up. This transformation has focused on innovation in industries and technology, with digital economy, industrial digitization, and digital industrialization moving towards the theme. All data sources rely on sensors, and currently, China's sensor industry still heavily relies on imports, which is a severely "bottleneck" industry. The development of sensors requires the collaboration of the industrial chain to create and establish a specialized, unique, distinctive, and specialized ecosystem. Shenzhen has unique advantages in developing sensors, such as proximity to the market, internationalization, and supporting industrial chains. The development of sensors requires great effort in resource allocation. Sensor enterprises are diverse, small-scale, and mainly composed of technology personnel. The technology is specialized and requires scenario based descriptions
